Registration for Spring opens: January 13, 2020
Registration for Spring closes: February 20, 2020
 
Spring classes will be held: January 21, 2020- May 28, 2020

Course Offerings
*HSD Odysseyware & Distance Learning
*GED Prep Course - English & Spanish
*ABE - Beginning, Intermediate & Pre-GED (not offered during the summer session)
*ESL - Beginning, Intermediate & Advanced
*Students make their own orientation appointments online*

STEP ONE: Visit the MVCAS website at adulted.mvusd.net to register for an orientation class.

STEP TWO: CASAS TESTING/ORIENTATION

Complete CASAS Testing and entry forms

Please allow at least 2 hours to complete the CASAS test
 
*In order to qualify for a GED Program or HSD Program, your test score must result in a 9.0 or higher*


STEP THREE: COUNSELOR

Meet with the counselor at the appointment time you scheduled in Step 3 and pay all required fees. Register for either high school diploma classes, GED or Adult Basic Education classes.


GED Preparation Program

4 class meetings per week

Monday–Thursday

9:00 am - 12:00 pm (English & Spanish)
&
5:00 pm - 8:00 pm (English & Spanish) - (Not offered during the summer session)

HSD Program

STEP ONE: Transcripts

Submit OFFICIAL transcript(s) from previous school(s) of record. This step must be completed before you can go on to any other step.

Students must have a total of 115 credits to register for HSD

STEP TWO: CASAS TESTING/ORIENTATION

Complete CASAS testing and entry forms.

Please allow at least 2 hours to complete the CASAS test

Schedule appointment with the counselor

STEP THREE: COUNSELOR

Meet with the counselor at the appointment time you scheduled in Step 3 and pay all required fees. Register for either high school diploma classes or Adult Basic Education classes.

HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA/ ADULT CLASS INFORMATION

*Day of week is determined by class needed

Distance Learning:

Monday - Thursday, 9:00 am -12:00 pm
&

Thursday, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

English as a Second Language
