Please note once you have registered into a program, you will receive a phone call from the office to finalize your registration and provide you with your actual class schedule.

Course Offerings
*HSD Odysseyware & Distance Learning
*GED Prep Course - English & Spanish
*ABE - Beginning, Intermediate & Pre-GED 
*ESL - Beginning, Intermediate & Advanced
*Students make their own orientation appointments online*

STEP ONE: Visit the MVCAS website at adulted.mvusd.net to register for an orientation class.

STEP TWO: CASAS TESTING/ORIENTATION

Complete CASAS Testing and entry forms
Please allow at least 2 hours to complete the CASAS test
 
*In order to qualify for a GED Program or HSD Program, your test score must result in a 9.0 or higher*

STEP THREE: COUNSELOR

Meet with the counselor at the appointment time you scheduled in Step 3. Register for either high school diploma classes, GED or Adult Basic Education classes. ( may be via a phone appointment to be determined)

GED Preparation Program (Instruction will be ONLINE for Fall Semester)

4 class meetings per week

Class hours To Be Determined
Monday–Thursday (English & Spanish)
 
Class days/times will be flexible depending on teacher availability and student needs.

HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA (HSD) AND ADULT BASIC EDUCATION (ABE) PROGRAMS

STEP ONE: Transcripts

Submit OFFICIAL transcript(s) from previous school(s) of record. This step must be completed before you can go on to any other step.

Students must have a total of 115 credits to register for HSD

STEP TWO: CASAS TESTING/ORIENTATION

Complete CASAS testing and entry forms.

Please allow at least 2 hours to complete the CASAS test

Schedule appointment with the counselor ( may be via a phone appointment to be determined)

STEP THREE: COUNSELOR

Meet with the counselor at the appointment time you scheduled in Step 3. Register for either high school diploma classes or Adult Basic Education classes.

Monday - Thursday 
Mornings and Evenings
Class days/times will be flexible depending on teacher availability and student needs.
 
ADULT BASIC EDUCATION PROGRAM (ABE) CLASS INFORMATION
*ABE program will be ONLINE for the Fall Semester
 
Math - Mondays and Wednesdays (Intermediate & Advanced)
Language Arts - Tuesdays and Thursdays (Intermediate & Advanced)
Class days/times will be flexible depending on teacher availability and student needs.


ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (ESL) PROGRAM

STEP ONE: CASAS Testing & Orientation

Complete CASAS testing and entry forms

ESL CLASS INFORMATION
*ESL Program will be ONLINE for the Fall Semester
