Course Offerings
*HSD Odysseyware & Distance Learning
*GED Prep Course - English & Spanish
*ABE - Beginning, Intermediate & Pre-GED
*ESL - Beginning, Intermediate & Advanced
*Students make their own orientation appointments online*
STEP ONE: Visit the MVCAS website at adulted.mvusd.net to register for an orientation class.
STEP TWO: CASAS TESTING/ORIENTATION
Complete CASAS Testing and entry forms
Please allow at least 2 hours to complete the CASAS test
STEP THREE: TABE TESTING (Not applicable for ESL Students)
Complete TABE testing
Please allow at least 5 hours to complete the TABE test
Make appointment to meet with the counselor.
*In order to qualify for a GED Program or HSD Program, your test score must result in a 9.0 or higher*
STEP FOUR: COUNSELOR
Meet with the counselor at the appointment time you scheduled in Step 3 and pay all required fees. Register for either high school diploma classes, GED or Adult Basic Education classes (depending on TABE scores).
GED Preparation Program
4 class meetings per week

HSD Program
STEP ONE: Transcripts
Submit OFFICAL transcript(s) from previous school(s) of record. This step must be completed before you can go on to any other step.
Students must have a total of 115 credits to register for HSD
STEP TWO: CASAS TESTING/ORIENTATION
Complete CASAS testing and entry forms.
Please allow at least 2 hours to complete the CASAS test
Schedule appointment with the counselor
STEP THREE: TABE TESTING
Complete TABE testing
Please allow 5 hours to complete the TABE test
STEP FOUR: COUNSELOR
Meet with the counselor at the appointment time you scheduled in Step 3 and pay all required fees. Register for either high school diploma classes or Adult Basic Education classes (depending on TABE scores).
