Superintendent Dr. Martinrex Kedziora's message to families following Florida school shooting

I was deeply saddened to hear of another school shooting yesterday, this time at a high school in Florida. I wanted to take a moment to reassure all of our families that their childrens' safety is our top priority every day.

We are reminded of the responsibility we have to our community, every time there is an act of violence at a school.

We have been enhancing security at our schools throughout the year, with the addition of security cameras and a new visitor management system. We also continue to work closely with the Moreno Valley Police Department and the officers that patrol our schools on a daily basis.

We are constantly reviewing and adapting our security needs to protect our students.

If you or your student have a concern about safety at their school, please let your principal know. Together, we can help keep our schools safe places for learning with Excellence on Purpose each day!
