Welcome to Moreno Valley Community Adult School (MVCAS)!

It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as Principal of this exceptional school. Now in my sixth year in this role, I remain deeply committed to ensuring that every student who enters our doors feels supported, valued, and empowered to succeed.

At MVCAS, we believe in the transformative power of lifelong learning. Adult education changes lives. Whether you are returning to earn your high school diploma, preparing for the GED, learning English, developing career technical skills, improving your digital literacy, or pursuing citizenship, our dedicated and caring staff is here to guide you every step of the way.

Our school is more than a place of instruction; it is a welcoming community. We proudly serve students from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and educational levels. We honor each individual’s goals, respect every journey, and foster an environment where growth, perseverance, and achievement are celebrated.

Moreno Valley Community Adult School is proud to be a member of the Riverside About Students Adult Education Consortium, collaborating with regional partners to expand access to high-quality adult education opportunities throughout our community.

As a community-focused institution, we are committed to equity, personal enrichment, workforce readiness, and lifelong learning. Through comprehensive programs and supportive services, we strive to create meaningful opportunities that empower adult learners to reach their full potential.

Student Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of their studies, MVCAS students will be able to:

  • Establish personal, academic, and career goals and demonstrate measurable progress toward achieving them.

  • Apply critical thinking skills to analyze information and solve real-world problems.

  • Communicate effectively and collaborate using digital tools and technology.

I look forward to another inspiring and successful year at MVCAS as we continue strengthening our community, one student at a time. Thank you for choosing us to be part of your educational journey. We are exited to support you in achieving your goals.

With gratitude,

Dr. Elsa Magaña
