Welcome to Moreno Valley Community Adult School!

My name is Elsa Magaña and I am honored to serve as the principal of the school. I have served the community of Moreno Valley Unified School District community for 15 years starting at Moreno Valley High School as a Spanish and AVID teacher. Since then, I have served as assistant principal for several elementary schools, briefly at Vista del Lago high school, and now I am proud and honored to serve the adults in our community as the principal of the adult school.

Moreno Valley Community Adult School serves the adults in the community achieve their personal or academic goals. At MVCAS you can attend classes to learn English (ESL), improve your language and math skills (ABE), finish your high school diploma or get the equivalency (GED), prepare to pass your citizenship test with INS (Citizenship Class), and learn basic computer skills.

Additionally, if you are interested in the medical field, you can start with us by taking our CTE course Pharmacy Technician and upon passing coursework and state assessments, become a state licensed pharmacy technician. We also partner with AUMT Institute to offer training and preparation in Phlebotomy, EKG, and Medical Assistant. (Fees Apply)

We are excited you have taken the first step to achieving your goals. Myself and the staff at MVCAS is committed to supporting you so you can accomplish them. We are looking forward to working with you and have a successful academic year.
