ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
Moreno Valley Community Adult School (MVCAS) promotes personal enrichment and advocates lifelong learning for adult learners to pursue multiple pathways with equity, collaboration, and excellence on purpose.
MVCAS, provides an exceptional education that prepares students for their future. Moreno Valley Community Adult School is dedicated to its students' success, personal enrichment and assist students to realize their passions and assist them to pursue and achieve their academic and/or personal goals. Students have access to highly trained instructors, supportive administrators, counseling services and front office staff. Our staff works diligently and collaboratively to provided a welcoming environment, rigorous curriculum and engaging school culture.
MVCAS offers adult education courses such as: English as a Second Language (ESL), Citizenship preparation, High School Diploma, GED (General Education Development; available in both English and Spanish), Basic Computer Applications, and Adult Basic Education.
Career Technical Education courses are also available in the medical field through pathways such as Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomy, EKG, and Medical Assistant all recognized by the industry. Upon course completion and passing the state exam, students receive their state certification and/or license.
Moreno Valley Community Adult School prepares students to be college and career ready, prepares them to transition to college and/or a viable career, and provides assistance with entering or returning to the workforce.

Career Technical Education
Career technical education (CTE) provides students and adults with the academic and technical skills, knowledge and training necessary to succeed in future careers and develop skills they will use throughout their careers. The CTE pathway prepares students for the world of work by introducing them to workplace competencies, and makes academic content accessible to students by providing it in a hands-on context. Foundational to CTE are rigorous program standards. These standards ensure that students are equipped with the knowledge and foundational skills for their career goals.
Who We Serve...
Moreno Valley Community Adult School serves adult learners 18 year of age and older who are wanting to master English as a second language, improve their academic skills to earn their high school diploma or equivalency. We also serve individuals who are pursuing citizenship and those who are looking to invest in career advancement or workforce preparation.
